Data Recovery

Each year, hundreds of new models of hard drives are manufactured, each from a different company with different designs. This also means hundreds of new points of failure that our data recovery engineers need to be prepared for. Thanks to ongoing research and development into data recovery techniques, our engineers are experts in hard drive data recovery, whether from desktops, laptops or external and portable hard drives.

Data recovery for solid-state drives

As storage devices increase in capacity, CSE has partnered with SSD manufacturers to improve our solid state drive recovery capabilities. Since SSDs tend to be self-encrypting, it can often make recovery far more difficult than traditional hard drive recoveries. However, thanks to our innovative research and development team, CSE is able to recover data from a variety of models and capacities of solid-state drives.

Data Recovery Services for all RAID types, NAS and SAN devices

Using advanced engineering techniques, we can recover data from large capacity, enterprise grade storage devices such as RAID arrays, network attached storage (NAS) devices and storage area network (SAN) devices. These devices typically contain critical business data for companies that cannot afford to have their systems down for any length of time. Our expedited data recovery services allow businesses to be back up in running in no time after a data loss event.

Although RAID systems are typically implemented for data security reasons, no system is 100% secure. For example, if a virus attacks a RAID system with redundancy, it attacks all copies of the data rendering the entire system useless. At CSE RAID data recovery is done by recovering data from individual failed disks and then reassembling it based on the type of RAID system.

Data recovery for servers

Server failures are devastating to businesses of all sizes. These devices typically contain critical business data for companies that cannot afford to have their systems down for any length of time. Our expedited data recovery services allow businesses to be back up in running in no time after a data loss event. We are able to recover from these devices with a high degree of success.

Data recovery for USB Flash Drives (Thumb Drives)

The size and portability of thumb drives devices can be beneficial from a convenience standpoint, but it also puts them at risk for data loss. Due to their portable nature, USB flash drives are often damaged. They get tossed around in backpacks or put through the washer after being accidentally left in a pocket. We recover data from USB thumb drives of varying capacities.

Data Transfer
Whether you’re upgrading your current system, replacing a failing hard drive, or starting up with a brand new computer, you’re probably going to want most of the files from your old hard drive to make the move with you. Transferring data manually can take forever without the right tools, and you can still miss important files hiding in odd corners of your drive. Our techs have the hardware to make data transfers quick and easy, and they can work with you to make sure that everything you need is there on your new hardware. We can even deal with the old hard drive when the transfer is complete.
